Ordering the 184 IgG Food Sensitivity Panel - Serum with Alletess Medical Laboratory

The 184 IgG Food Sensitivity Panel measures the IgG (delayed reaction) to 184 commonly consumed foods.

Food sensitivities may arise anytime throughout one’s life. They may result from repetitive consumption, lack of diversity in the diet, emotional or physical stress, reduced oral tolerance, chronic infection such as, Candida albicans, Epstein-Barr virus, or Lyme’s disease, or due to increased intestinal permeability.

Being that food sensitivity reactions are delayed; it is more difficult to pinpoint what specific food is the cause of the clinical complaint. Testing aids in the identification of these problematic foods. Clinical complaints related to food sensitivities range from mild bloating to severe behavior problems.

Which Patients is the 184 IgG Food Sensitivity Panel best used for?

The root cause of a variety of health problems often stems from the foods we are consuming every day. These can also include foods that are considered healthy. Identifying these foods is a key step to symptom improvement.
The 184 IgG Food Sensitivity Panel should be considered when patients present the following symptoms or conditions:

  • Headache
  • Attention disorders
  • Fatigue
  • Nausea
  • Skin disorders: eczema, hives, acne, psoriasis
  • Stomachache
  • Bloating
  • Acid reflux
  • Systemic inflammation
  • Constipation or diarrhea
  • Joint pain
  • Brain fog
  • Unexplained weight loss or gain
  • Difficulty in concentrating
  • Irritable bowels
  • Behavioral issues

*Note

No fasting or need to come off most medications or supplements. The accuracy and precision of laboratory results depends on the quality of the specimen received at the laboratory. Observation of any of the conditions below, upon receipt of the specimen will result in the rejection of the specimen and the submitting entity will be informed:

  • Unlabeled specimen
  • Broken specimen tubes
  • Insufficient quantity of specimen (QNS)
  • Specimen received in expired collection tube
  • Hemolytic specimen
  • Lypemic specimen
