With custom settings, you can automatically release results to patients, create & edit custom bundles, add & manage your team members, set preferred phlebotomists, and more all in one place!
If you want patients to see their test results at the same time as you, simply toggle this feature “on”. Patients will receive an e-mail with their test results as soon as they are available in Rupa.
With custom bundles, you can create, save, and name any lab test bundle of your choosing from multiple lab providers for easy one-click ordering.
Now, you can access & edit bundles right in your settings, in addition to creating them when starting a new order. More choices for whichever way you prefer!

Since many of our practitioners order labs with a blood draw requirement, we want to make sure you and your patients’ phlebotomy experience is as simple and as easy as possible.
Whether you prefer to send your patients to a specific phlebotomist, a blood draw center, or have it done in your office, you can manage that all here! Based on the preferences you set, we’ll send a custom e-mail to your patients every time you order a blood draw lab that tells them where to go, the cost, and any custom instructions you want to send.

While you’ve always been able to order add-on tests with Rupa, we now make this easier than ever. When adding a test to your cart, you’ll see the add-ons available right in the ordering panel. You’ll also be able to see add-ons when you click the i (info) on each lab test in the ordering page.
ELISA/ACT Biotechnologies is known for their lymphocyte response assay for detecting delayed hypersensitivities. We've heard from many of you how useful their testing is and are excited to have them on board Rupa! You'll see ELISA/ACT in your catalog and ordering portal when you login. When you’re placing practitioner-pay orders, you no longer have to wait for your patient to enter their shipping information and consent. You can use this box right by the order to bypass this step and speed up your patient's order.
As of today, you’ll be able to see the estimated date for completed results for Genova, DUTCH, Vibrant, and Great Plains Labs, to help you schedule follow-up appointments with patients ahead of time!
Not all of our labs currently calculate these dates, but we're working hard with them to get this for you. For these other labs, you can check our Shipping and Turnaround Times per Lab.
You can now send results to patients with one click directly from your Rupa portal. Your patient will receive a secure link to access their results. No more back-and-forth - it's a win-win-win! 😁

Note: By default, we direct your patients to the lab's phlebotomy resources. Some labs have online directories, other labs will guide patients over the phone.
We know how important it is for you to streamline the process of lab testing. We can now send your patients their orders via text, in addition to email.
Texting orders can lead to 15% higher conversion for patients who might not have gone through with their lab order. Texted orders also get patients to move forward faster, allowing you to get results in faster, and shorten the lab testing cycle. ⚡️
You’ll enter your patient’s phone number when you’re placing the order, not when you create the patient.
You can choose to send the order through email + text, or just email.
The first text Rupa sends your patient is a quick consent message.
We only text your patient once for their original order.
Patients should still email Rupa for support. We don't yet offer support over text.
With the world opening up a little bit, patients starting to come in for in-person visits, and shipping just being somewhat unreliable right now -- we have some BIG news to share!
We’re excited to announce In-Office Kits are now a part of the Rupa experience! Currently, you can use Rupa with In Office-kits with two labs: US Biotek and BostonHeart.
This means you can use Rupa for kits that you hand to patients in-person! With just a few clicks, you’ll get a completed requisition that you can print out and hand to a patient immediately. And we’ll be there to do all the follow up, education, and results tracking.
(p.s. We’re going to be adding more labs very soon!)
What is an In-Office Kit?
You can now place orders through Rupa for kits that you already have at your office. We still handle payment, and create a filled-out requisition form instantaneously.
