Sjögren's syndrome is a chronic autoimmune disease that occurs when the body's immune system attacks moisture-producing glands, including the salivary (in the mouth) and lacrimal (tear-producing) glands of the eyes. How is Sjögren's Syndrome Diagnosed?

The American College of Rheumatology/European League Against Rheumatism has developed international classification criteria for diagnosing Sjögren's.
