About the Test

What is The Array 12 - Pathogen-Associated Immune Reactivity Screen?

The Array 12 - Pathogen-Associated Immune Reactivity Screen from Cyrex Laboratories examines an individual's response to specific pathogens that increase susceptibility to developing autoimmune reactions.

What Does the Array 12 - Pathogen-Associated Immune Reactivity Screen Measure?

The Array 12 determines a patient's immune responsiveness to a number of pathogens implicit in the development of autoimmune conditions. A complete list of pathogens tested can be viewed below this summary.

Which Patients is The Array 12 Screen Best Used For?

Array 12 explores pathogen-induced sensitivity. It is useful in challenging cases of autoimmunity. The results from the screen can also be used to monitor treatment effectiveness.

Clinical Use

  • Detect immune reactions to key pathogens that may lead to multiple autoimmune reactivities.
  • Determine the role of pathogens in cases of 'unexplained' autoimmune reactivities.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of clinical protocols for addressing pathogens associated with multiple autoimmunities.

Recommended for Patients Who

  • Present with chronic conditions such as gastrointestinal distress, fatigue, body aches or unexplained and general inflammation, including neuroinflammation.
  • May have been exposed to bacteria, viruses, parasites, molds, and spirochetes associated with multiple autoimmunities.
  • Have not fully responded to clinical interventions, such as detoxification and dietary modifications.

What Sample Type is Needed to Complete the Array 12 - Pathogen-Associated Immune Reactivity Screen?

The Array 12 - Pathogen-Associated Immune Reactivity Screen requires a blood specimen for analysis. The array collection kit includes blood specimen collection tubes and return packaging. A sample is to be collected by a phlebotomist using the tubes supplied and then shipped to Cyrex Laboratories for evaluation. Results are sent to your Rupa Health Portal!

About the Test

The Pathogen-Associated Immune Reactivity Screen (Array 12) detects immune reactions to key pathogens that may lead to multiple autoimmune reactivities. It can also be used to monitor the effectiveness of protocols for addressing autoimmune-related pathogens.
