About the Test

This test detects variations in the CYP2C19 gene. It helps identify patients with an increased or decreased metabolism of clopidogrel (Plavix®). This test can be ordered with any Boston Heart genetics test. Please be advised that Boston Heart Diagnostics policy states that practitioners are unable to order labs on themselves or their immediate family members.
